2-4 player game, 30 minutes to play, Tactical Card game, Massive replay value, Quick to learn, many ways to win.
In Dominion, each player starts with an identical, very small deck of cards. In the center of the table is a selection of other cards the players can “buy” as they can afford them. Through their selection of cards to buy, and how they play their hands as they draw them, the players construct their deck on the fly, striving for the most efficient path to the precious victory points by game end. You are a monarch, like your parents before you, a ruler of a small pleasant kingdom of rivers and evergreens. Unlike your parents, however, you have hopes and dreams! You want a bigger and more pleasant kingdom, with more rivers and a wider variety of trees. You want a Dominion! In all directions lie fiefs, freeholds, and feodums. All are small bits of land, controlled by petty lords and verging on anarchy. You will bring civilization to these people, uniting them under your banner. But wait! It must be something in the air; several other monarchs have had the exact same idea. You must race to get as much of the unclaimed land as possible, fending them off along the way. To do this you will hire minions, construct buildings, spruce up your castle, and fill the coffers of your treasury. $29.85Dominion
“I wanna introduce you to a personal friend of mine. This is an M41A pulse rifle. Ten millimeter with over-and-under thirty millimeter pump action grenade launcher.” – Corporal Dwayne Hicks, Colonial Marines
In space, nobody can hear you scream, but if you’re a Colonial Marine carrying a standard issue M41A Pulse Rifle, it doesn’t matter. This futuristic 22nd century infantry weapon featured in the Alien Anthology [Blu-ray] is now available to you way ahead of its time. This officially licensed prop replica is 100% faithful in detail and size to the original M41A Pulse Rifle used in the movie. It features a light up LED ammo counter display that sets at “95″ when the removable magazine is inserted, a moving grenade launcher pump handle, a metal collapsible shoulder stock and metal barrel vent, accurate “Brown Bess” colored aluminum shrouds and includes a themed wall display plaque complete with replica stock number.
If for some reason this doesn’t wipe out those nasty, acid drooling xenomorphs, you can always just nuke the site from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure!
Inspiration for The Dishwasher began in 2004 when James Silva was himself working as a dishwasher, and felt that the position earned too little respect. After pointing out to many people that Bruce Lee was a dishwasher, he began to envision a game about a dishwasher who “mercilessly slaughtered piles of extremely well trained evil minions”.
Gameplay revolves around an unnamed protagonist, ostensibly a dishwasher, as he fights through waves of increasingly stronger enemies until the boss fight and the end of the level. The player is given a basic starting weapon (meat cleavers) and can earn new weapons and upgrades by defeating bosses and collecting ‘spirals’ from defeated enemies. Weapons include the cleavers, a samurai sword, a machine gun/shotgun combo, chainsaw, and kama. Fighting is done through using either a basic attack, a strong attack, or a grab move, in combination or alone to string together chains of attacks for points. Enemies, once weakened, are susceptible to various ‘finishing moves’ that yield even more points and health to the player. There is also a magic system, dubbed “Dish Magic”, which can be bought at later levels. Also present is a guitar minigame, which can be played with the common guitar peripherals from the Guitar Hero and Rock Band series

Nostalgia has a new definition now and that certainly comes in the form of the Sumo Hoppers. If you still have no idea what I am talking about, there is a company which is soon going to sell those beloved hoppers suited to an adult’s size. The hoppers come with adequate space of 24 inches and even those blessed with generous bodies can easily fit on top of these Sumo wrestlers. The adult version of hoppers can be used by groups of friends, couples and even just a single person. However you plan to use them, a fun time is guaranteed. You could relive those moments of innocent fun you had as a kid, hopping down in one of these hoppers down your driveway.
When you get yourself a set of 2 Sumo Hoppers, you also get a pump which lets you inflate the hoppers as much as you want. The Sumo Hoppers are not available yet and would be sold from April onwards, but PerpetualKid is taking pre-orders. I guess it is well worth the wait, for it is not always that you can relive your childhood memories once again. The fact that these hoppers also look like Sumo wrestlers may add a dash of novelty too. If you are more interested in the Sumo part of these hoppers than the Sumo Hopper itself, you would also be interested in checking out the Sumo Wrestler Robot, who is quite interesting himself!
Word of Ember blazed across the land, and the town of Torchlight flared to life.
Ember is the essence of magic and the keystone of alchemy; it lures the restless with promises of power and riches. Miners burrowed deep beneath the dirt streets of Torchlight, discovering veins of the ore richer than any found in living memory- but they were not the first to covet these mines. The miners broke through into the buried past, a dangerous labyrinth of caverns and ruined civilizations, twisted creatures and the bones of those who came before. Evil bubbles up from the depths and threatens to overrun this town as it has so many others. The heart of a villain has infused the Ember, and his darkness seeps through the veins. To survive, the townspeople must break the cycle of destruction; they need a champion who can destroy the evil at its root. Removing the source of the rot may purify the Ember, but it is a long and perilous journey. The champion must battle through rock and fire, through lost cities and ancient tombs, into the palace of the villain himself.
Torchlight is an action role-playing-game for the PC made by the creators of Diablo, Fate, and the never-released Mythos among other games. Set in the mining town of Torchlight, players will adventure to uncover the mysteries of the Ember mines. It offers a fully featured character leveling system, randomized dungeons, hordes of monsters, and gobs of great loot. Available on Mac, PC, and now Xbox Live. Great game to pass the time before Diablo 3 comes out! Buy it here for less than $20.
After watching this MineCraft trailer I have come up with one conclusion: Kids are freaking monsters when they play MineCraft. The trailer below follows a man in his golden years just strolling down the street, then a kid comes up and steals 1/4th of his head. Gives me a head-ache just watching this “Diamonds” trailer.
